Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. Now this is a platform style bike rack capable of holding up to two bikes. It's gonna hold them in these wheel trays with two straps on either wheel at the bottom and our primary method of holding it up top with this frame clamp. Frame contact is gonna mean a couple things. With our carbon frame bikes, we probably will want to avoid using those because it can damage the frame. more

It's going to be a hanging style bike rack, capable of holding up to four bikes. Because it's hanging style, we do wanna avoid our carbon frame bikes, alternative frame bikes, and kids' bikes. Now with the alternative frame and kids' bikes, you can use them. You'll just need to pick up a bike adaptive bar. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp HD here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. Now the SuperClamp is a bike rack a platform style bike rack, holding the bike in these cradles and primarily by the wheels that's gonna mean zero frame contact making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, good for your e-bikes too. And that's really significant because this is also motor home approved. It's important to get a bike rack that's motor home approved because you have extra shock and vibration back here compared to your typical passenger vehicle. And typically finding a bike rack that's rated for that and e-bikes is a little less common. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4-Bike Rack here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome. It's gonna be a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these trays and primarily by the frame right here with this frame clamp. It's gonna pivot 360 degrees and slide up and down, allowing it to work with alternative frames. But because it is frame contact, we do wanna avoid our carbon frame bikes. There's a 35 pound weight capacity per bike so make sure you're staying within those limits and you should be all good. more

Now, this is a platform style bike rack, holding the bike in these trays and primarily by the frame, with this frame clamp right here. Because it makes frame contact, we do wanna avoid our carbon frame bikes. But with the way this clamp actually rotates 360 degrees, can slide up and down, we do have the freedom to use alternative frame bikes on here worry-free, as opposed to the hook-style of frame contact. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit motor home. This is going to be a really solid platform-style bike rack designed for e-bikes. Now, I say platform-style, that means it's being held in these cradles and this one is being held by the frame with this frame hook up here. The frame hook is gonna mean that we probably want to avoid carbon frame bikes 'cause that will damage the frame and alternative frame bikes are probably gonna need a bike adapter bar to make sure this hook gets a good grab and a good hold on the bike. Otherwise though, it's gonna be a really nice setup because right outta the box, it is gonna work with your e-bikes. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the etrailer bike rack here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motor Home. This is a hanging style bike rack, holding the bike by the frame here and secured with these two hook and loop straps. It's gonna keep it fairly secure. One thing to keep in mind with this is that we don't have any third point of contact in the seat post limiting that side to side movement. more

CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome- Video
Hi everyone! Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're checking out the Curt Premium Bike Rack here on our 2016 Winnebago Spirit Motorhome. Now, the Curt Premium is a hanging-style bike rack, which means we've got the bike hanging by the frame. 3 points of contact are gonna be these 2 straps up top, holding it down and into these cradles, and then a third one around the seat post to limit that bike-to-bike contact by limiting that side-to-side movement. It's still obviously gonna be there, but it will limit it and help out quite a bit compared to other bike racks that don't have that third point of contact. You do have a total weight capacity of 180 pounds, and because it's hanging-style, we want to avoid our carbon frame bikes. more

That's going to be a platform style bike rack and it is motor home approved. That is important to look out for because we wanna make sure it's built and tested to withstand the extra shock and vibration that it's gonna experience back here compared to a typical passenger vehicle. Now the E-Spec is an exceptionally strong rack. It is capable of holding up to 70 pounds per bike. more

What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Swagman XP5 on our 2017 Winnebago spirit motor home. So yes, this is motor home approved, but it can also go on any of your two inch hitch receiver vehicles. You just want to make sure that the hitch is gonna be a class three or higher. With this, It's gonna be a great family rack. We can get five bikes to and fro, it is pretty tight when we're putting these on here. more
